PAGDER, who continues result-driven helpful training activities, has successfully organized a training seminar led by Dr. Peter Cox, one of the prominent figures of the world in his own field. Over 150 industrialists attended the "New Generation Extrusion Seminar" given by Dr. Peter Cox, who is the renowned expert of extrusion procession in Europe.
The Turkish Plastics Industrialists' Association (PAGDER), who will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2019 as one of the first sectoral NGOs in the business community, maintains training activities to offer benefits to its sectoral members, which is one of the primary objectives of the Association.

Addressing to the attendants before the seminar, PAGDER's Vice Chairman Oğuzhan Gürlek stressed that all processes should be handled well so that funding, value added and profitability can be achieved. Gürlek, who reminded the stricter nature of finance market, said, "It makes no sense for industrialists to produce any product or be familiar with production alone. In addition, they should be capable of interpreting financial results, structuring operational processes and, more importantly, analyzing the aspects of their business that touch the environment and human. Failing in even one of these areas will affect sustainability due to the current local and global position of competition. Unfortunately, the sectoral profitability rates included in official statistics are far from covering high financing costs."
